January 11, 2010:  We’re On The Move!

As a result of the tremendous progress we’ve made over the last three years, we’re expanding to become the Naval Heritage Society.  Instead of portraying only British sailors and marines, we’re gearing up to broaden our scope of interest to sailors and marines throughout American history.  Our primary programming will also broaden, from re-enacting to hands-on education programs.  We will continue to attend re-enacting events, but far and away most of our time will be spent working with student groups and historical institutions.

 

Starting March 1, 2010 we’re moving our virtual headquarters to www.navalheritage.org to reflect the name and focus shift.

 

Of course our core concept will remain the same:  we will still provide uniforms and equipment to all of our participants free of charge.  This website will remain reflective of our original concept and mission until we make the change to the new one.
